We aim to maintain a diverse student population and to serve our entire community, regardless of economic status as well as to nurture creative artists and appreciative audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
Family Day: This special open house for the Youth and Teen Program welcomes children and adults of all ages to visit he ODC Dance Commons, sample free classes, and talk to faculty and returning parents. Placement classes for ballet and contemporary classes will take place during Family Day.
Scholarship Program: At ODC School, we believe art education is vital to a child’s development. It is our goal to reach as many children as we can, regardless of their families’ economic situations. ODC offers partial scholarships and very few full scholarships which are awarded based on need, commitment, talent and potential. Click here to Download an application.
Velveteen Rabbit: ODC School Youth Program students, ages 6-12, are eligible to audition for the ODC/Dance production of the Velveteen Rabbit held at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in November and December. Two casts of 10 children perform with the professional adult dance company in this beloved main stage production. More
